Roopu
Research shows that Māmā usually decide the language that will be used in the home, so we need to tautoko our Māmā to be more confident to kōrero. The best way to do this is to find a supportive roopu who will allow you to use your reo free of judgement but full of manaakitanga.
Meeting regularly
Our Māmā roopu started online during lockdown as a way to keep our mums in touch with others who are learning reo. The Māmā finally got to meet up in person and hope to make this a regular occurence.
