Te Puna Ihi Manaaki

EKENA TE WAKA REO

Te Puna - a spring, Ihi - life force, Manaaki - to care for, be hospitable.

We want to empower whānau to make reo Māori their language of every day use, and ensure that tikanga Māori is woven into everyday life.

Our Pae Tawhiti/ Our Vision:

By 2040 we will have an established community of ten to twelve whanau (40 – 60 individuals) whose primary language with their tamariki and mokopuna is Te Reo Māori. We will support each other, meet regularly and engage in whānau orientated activities.
